National Night of Prayer
Each year the Feast of the Immaculate Conception takes place from 9 pm December 8 to 1 am December 9. It was on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (then celebrated on December 9) that Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas and the unborn, first appeared to St. Juan Diego. The National Night of Prayer bridges these two feasts to honor our Blessed Mother and to pray for the sanctity of all human life.
The National Night of Prayer will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church at 11 Center Street in Forestville on Sunday, December 8 at 9 pm until Monday at 1 am. Life prayer service consists of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, 20 decades of Rosary, prayers, hymns and silent adoration.
You are welcome to join us on the hours of 9, 10, 11 and 12 for Rosary and prayer. The remainder of the hours is spent in personal adoration. You may stay for the full 4 hours or stop in at anytime during the four hour prayer service.
